Ever since my early childhood days, art has been one of my strongest
passions. Yet, throughout my adolescent years, I ventured through
various interesting fields and fine-tuned my professional interests.
Unfortunately, my strong fascinations in academia and my
chosen
career field overshadowed my former interest in art. Moreover, even
today I constantly wish to devote more time toward my love of art.
Naturally, with the ever-increasing "fast-paced" times in which we
live, I find it proportionately difficult to engage in all of the
activities I enjoy. Similarly, it is much quicker to take a photo than
to paint a canvas. Although I aim not to cheaply replace my pencils and
paint brushes with camera lenses, I am making serious efforts to
re-engage myself in art--whether it be photography or canvas-based.
Many of the presented photos were taken during the infancy of my
interest in photography; they were taken with a standard, general-use
point-and-shoot digital camera. Yet, in suit with my aforementioned
promise to delve into art again, I recently purchased nice, new camera
equipment and am learning more about photography. I invite you to
re-visit these pages so as to witness my exploration of photography.
